Does anybody know if the RFU still make available the yellow ELRA tops?

I never got one at the time, and don't really like wearing soc. kit (even last year's model) if I'm not independently appointed to the game.

I don't think they do
My three solutions are
1 ask your Society to appoint you to the game
2 Gilbert do some good, inexpensive, plain colour shirts
3 over time you will collect various bits of stash you can wear... :)

You should only wear a Society shirt if you have been appointed to the game

What size are you?

The guidance I was given on this (when I asked the soc.) was don't wear this year's model unless appointed.... which feels right to me - otherwise I have an ever growing collection of tops that never get used.

I was a bit surprised to just see an old soc. shirt on eBay though...

I have one I haven't worn for years, practically brand new. I think it might be an L, but because its Gilbert it comes across smaller than usual.
Would have happily sent it you, but I don't think it would fit?

Phil, I suspect that you are right, but it was a very generous thought anyway.

I don't really understand why the RFU don't just put a top on one of the (many) websites that now offer this service. It would be easy to do, and the question does seem to keep coming up. Personally I like the look of the yellow ones as they don't seem to be a clash with many local teams.
