Would you award a penalty try on the half way line?

Should have reversed the penalty on your son for appealing :ROFLMAO:

Would you award a penalty try on the half way line?

Depends on what I have seen in the game so far. If I have seen the winger do this before in the game and no one bothered to chase him, then I would consider it.

Should have been a straight Red, don't know why he had to go to the bunker?

    Ending the game vs “coaching”

I will refuse if I get asked by every single player, every 30 bloody seconds  I will just point to the last player I told and say "ask him".

    Ending the game vs “coaching”

I used to say "last play", then of course there was a penalty, so it wasn't the last play. Now I just say "clocks in the red". Always learning, always adjusting.

    Is the Bunker working?

Yes I did, so everyone knew that it had been seen and dealt with. The games wasn't all that bad, but there was some goading in the tunnel that led to the punches being thrown.

    Is the Bunker working?

I have issued a red card a couple of times after the final whistle. Once for a punch up in the tunnel and once for a punch up on the pitch straight after the final whistle. Both dealt with in the normal way and offenders banned for x games.

How to stop a maul without a card

The ideal position is an extended tower of power, with legs bent at hip and knee. If your feet are too far back then fewer of your studs are in contract with the ground, leading to a higher likelihood of losing your footing. You also can't push if your legs are almost straight, so if the scrum...

How to stop a maul without a card

Because usually at the top level they lose their footing due to trying to get too low and having their feet too far back. That's not accidental. SNAP Stu10

    Is the Bunker working?

While under review the tv showed a half yellow, half red card next to the team name. When the 8 minutes ran out it just turned full yellow, but I didn't hear anything said to the ref, or by him.

How to stop a maul without a card

No they weren't on a warning, and I am fairly sure they had successfully stopped all previous Welsh Mauls legally.

How to stop a maul without a card

You are probably correct, but my point is, if a coach asks me before a game, "if they do this is it a yellow card", my answer is going to "maybe". No way am I painting myself into the proverbial corner by saying yes 100%. The laws of rugby are not black and white, they are very grey. This...

How to stop a maul without a card

Was it cynical, or did the player genuinely think the ball was out? Was it just bad timing? Had the ball been lifted? Did the SH do anything to make him think it was out? What's the temperament of the game? Has this happened before in this game? Was there really a try scoring opportunity on...
