If you say who's scrum where in the law book is this stated. We still do not have goal line drop out.

Attacking scrum (red) as the ball was taken back into in goal by defenders, even if GLD was in use its still a scrum.

Ref got this wrong (I believe) in the Leicester game this past weekend... Ball passed back to Ford ingoal, his kick was charged down (within ingoal) and went dead... GLD was awarded.

Yes I was there working and thought it was wrong. But as a Leicester fan I was happy with a GLD, although we were duffing them up in the scrums as well.

The ref was right.
Infringement/stoppage
The ball is taken into in goal
by the defending
team and made dead.

It doesn't say who makes it dead, the ball never left the in goal area.

If it was taken into ingoal by the defending team (which it was) and made dead (by anyone), it's a 5m attacking scrum as per my law quote in post 6
The ref on the day awarded a GLD which was incorrect according to law 19.1

Sorry Phil E. I should pay more attention as I'm often told by players I'm Reffing;)
Hey ho, possibly only one more game to go this season, if I get one, to make more mistakes.
