Wayne Barnes is not wearing a watch. I know they have time keepers but it looks wrong!

Argentine player lying flat on top of the tackled player. Aussie pingged for no release. Tosh. More worried about such calls than the lack of a watch.

Mav be players will get the message if we start seeing cards for that. They are not listening to PKs and warnings are they!

I gave a YC for exactly that tackle yesterday, no issues from anyone. Dangerous!

If Simmons had done everything the same but hadn't caught the intercept that led to the try one minute into the game would that have been a YC - comparing it to last week's YC for SCO?

Good example set there... 16 men in the scrum on the floor and no reset, play the ball and end the half...

So let's change the law then. Because what Barnes did (and all the other elite guys do) was against the laws.

I hate that. Especially when a team is under the kosh like that. Allows them to clear so easily.

Was that a forward pass for the 3rd AAC try?

It didn't look like it to me in real time even with respect to the field; the passer was also running almost parallel with the tryline and 22.

1. Another great defensive effort from the Wallabies but will have taken a lot out of them with one day less to recover than ABs
2. Pocock and Fardy were great
3. Starting TH Prop for Pumas too smart for Slipper and even tricked Wayne Barnes for one scrum penalty
4. Several things for the TMO (Ben Skeen???) to look at as play went on and did his job well without being centre of attention
5. Argentina will build depth over the next 4 years with Super Rugby and more TRC tests. They will be in the Top 5 or 6 for a long time
6. Thought Drew Mitchell was going to score another try like the one he scored for Toulon when he beat a thousand defenders.
7. How dodgy are the Man of The Match trophies?

Aussies exemplary at getting to the breakdown and hunting in packs. Difficult for the ref to rule against them if they are not always supporting their own weight when winning the turnover.
Shame about the missed forward pass for the final try - could have been a gripping finish.

Pocock was fantastic, but he is never supporting himself when stealing ball.

Looked liked a forward pass for the last try, RR.com Twitter account is saying no, any clarification?

That said, the Pumas have been unbelievable this World Cup, sad to see them leave.

That is my one major concern with WB.

He seems to ignore that aspect of the Law, and allow an "anything goes" approach when it comes to jacklers at the breakdown.
