Current Referee grade:
Level 7
Here's one I had a few months ago. :rolleyes:
On the day I spoke to both captains, neither had a change of shirt.
We agreed to start but if we had problems we would change one team inside out.
Ironically despite how it looks in the picture the colours didn't cause a problem!
I used the calls black or blue on the day.

It tends to be easier the closer to the action you are - what looks impossible from the side-lines is often ok for the referee.

It's generally ok, but then in a split second you get an important call wrong because of it...

I was watching the national league round up - there were some interesting combinations this week - especially in the mud, rain and gloom. Blackheath's change strip looked OK at the start of the match against Moseley - picture from Moseley's twitter feed.
