Not sure if anyone watched the match, but there was an incident (tweet of highlight here.. https://twitter.com/piedmonds/status/1236034407909257217?s=21 ) with a Welsh player tackle in the air which I thought was a nailed on RC, but after review the ref gave a YC. Am I watching with ‘red tinted glasses’, or have I missed something (in which case- what have I missed?), or was it genuinely just a bad decision by the ref/ team of 4...?

For me thats a RC regardless of where he landed. Its reckless and dangerous from the full back.

Fwiw hes landed on his head for me. RC all day long.

Following the flow chart, I’d have to agree that’s a red card. Dangerous, no visible mitigation. Quite surprised to learn it was only yellow.

There was a guideline of some sort that said sticking your arm out to break your fall did not in itself absolve the perpetrator.
