The game I saw definitely had Heineken Cup post protectors and flags.

Did it, I wonder, have anything to do with who was broadcasting it? Was it Heineken Cup on Sky and ERCC on BT? I only saw one game, it was on BT and had the Champions post protectors.

I understood that the new event would not aim to have one sponsor, it would rather be in line with football's Champions league. If so Heineken would be a logical company to be one of the sponsors.

Heineken are still a major sponsor of the ERCC, they are just not a naming rights sponsor.

That doesn't necessarily mean they weren't sent the correct kit....

I'm sure you're right Phil. Only Thomond Park are using Heineken corner flags this week-end as well.
