On 9/18, I'll be in the middle for my first game in 18 months.

I've brushed up on the law variations and have been working on my fitness 2-3 nights per week.

The game itself is low stakes (B side match for two college sides), but I still want to give the players a good game.

For those who have recently picked up the whistle again, any suggestions/tips for knocking rust off?

Get there, don’t be too keen to blow, clear concise decisions when you make them (ignore the ones they appeal for) and slowly build your confidence up. Mostly, remember that everyone else is in the same boat, so basics and build it up and enjoy.
