I have a set of flags with wood handles (that look like drumsticks), and the glue holding the cloth to the wood has evaporated after maybe a year (I blame the summer weather that started two months ago).

My initial thought is to take some gorilla glue to it, but am curious as to other remedies.

I would attach the cloth to the wood with a staple or a brad

I used to buy cheap Mike Ashley specials when I was "young and keen". K**bheads running touch would lose and/or damage them so I stopped bothering.

My RFU flag for National Panel gigs is thing to behold and quite robust - with a detachable floppy bit when it needs a wipe/wash.
