Is reffing around line outs becoming too lax?

The premiership were hot on this last season for about 3 weeks, now they don't bother.
Its the same old story, each season they give the Prem Ref's things to be hot on and they ping them for a short while, then they drop by the wayside.

Anyone remember long arm transfers, latchers going to ground with the ball carrier, I am sure you can add more?

Putting the ball in straight to the scrum?

I think we've been mass hypnotised to think that. There is no evidence of it in the pro game.
along with WR/RFU insistence to refs to ping it.
and we are back to phil and simon's posts at #21 and #22

Agree 100% that it has and as usual it has filtered down to the amateur level where they pinged rightly for it and then moan that will I saw it on the TV and it was fine.

The other bugbear of mine it that the hooker is allowed to move off the LOT mark so that he's almost standing in front of his own team.
Not when I'm ARing :)
