Just a question on how to apply Law 19.10(g)
Lowering a Player. Players who support a jumping team-mate must lower that player to the ground as soon as the ball has been won by a player of either team.
Sanction: Free Kick on the 15-metre line

Some teams hold their jumper up a few seconds after winning the ball. I had an incident in a trial match recently where blue was holding their jumper up a few seconds then forming a maul. Red got frustrated at this and barged in (immediate PK).

How soon would you say is "as soon as the ball has been won" in 19.10(g)?

Forming a maul whilst the player is still in the air?

manage it. "get him down." warn next lineout, etc. would hope it never gets to a FK. they would have to be taking "it" out of you if it gets that far.
