Hmmmmmm! Seems like a good idea - but then how do we get the troubled 2 out - and which 2 was it anyway?

The thing that impresses me most about Americans is that they are never afraid to nick a good idea. The Not Invented Here syndrome is the enemy of good outcomes.

We thought it was a good idea. In fact, the U-19 coaches are going over the procedure in their pre-season meeting tomorrow. And, when I sent it to them as a suggestion I gave full credit. I'll be curious to see how it goes.

Why does the referee say "Crouch, Touch, Hold, Engage??"

Why does the referee say "Crouch, Touch, Hold, Engage??"

that's what we used to say when the 4 phase sequence first came in.

"Hold" meant "hold your position" but was frequently misinterpreted as "hold your opponent".
