Rugby Australia (rebranded in October from ARU) has a new CEO.
"Raelene Castle replaces Bill Pulver as Rugby Australia chief executive"

Not quite sure how the appointment process works but I'm guessing she is appointed by the Board.
Her first action as CEO should be to sack every single one of those useless b@$t@rd$ and clean the place out.

Raelene is a top-notch administrator. If she can't fix RA, then it is broken beyond repair.

I guess we will soon see how good or bad she is?! Tough job to change the ingrained culture of that place.

Can't say the press conference impressed me though but Ill reserve judgment until later.

I'm hoping she can keep her eye on the main game and not get caught up in "social justice" & gender politics issues.

Why would there be a risk of this happening?

There is a thread somewhere about the Aussie players making public statements about the same sex marriage referendum

as I understand it, one of the first things she did at Bulldogs was get rid of the cheerleaders and, later on, became involved in white ribbon (although the latter may have made sense given RL's issues with family violence).
