rugby is a late development game - so I don't get hung up on what ages players start to do stuff. Holding off "full rucking" for a year at the age of 8 isn't a big deal for me. Especially seeing as once any player actually graduates to be a pro player they don't ruck anyway - just smash into breakdowns and flop everywhere. That's not a ruck, even by the definition of rugby's own laws. Whatever.
