Hi,

We have been working on rugby manager game named Rugby Club Manager. It is a rugby union team management game inspired by classic football Championship Manager 01/02.

We've just launched Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for it. It's available on Kickstarter page https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/berobasket/rugby-club-manager

Will be glad if you want to support us. If you do not want to spend your money please consider sharing campaign link with others through social media.

We would like your help to bring the list of countries, whose league matches will be in the game, close to 30. Therefore - all those willing who could help us in supplementing the database with teams and players from different leagues, please contact us by e-mail: rcm@berobasket.pl

We don't normally allow adverts, but as this is rugby related and may be of interest to our members it has been allowed on this occasion.

I happen to agree with you. Others may not, but they can choose not to read this thread, it's not like you spammed this across every single forum.

I still play Championship Manager 97/98. I tried later versions but I didn't like it when you could monitor training and all that tosh! I had enough on keeping from being relegated.

For those that are interested (what do you mean no we're not!?) I always start off manging Stade de Malherbe de Caen in Ligue 2 in France.

Usually get sacked about 2015.

Top Tips - Bengt Anderson in Goal, Tommy Svindal-Larsen in Midfield, Natipong Sritong-In (Thailand Striker)

@Lee Lifeson-Peart what do you think about Rugby Manager inspired by Championship Manager? Would you like to play?
Berobasket

I'm sure a younger me would be very interested but I'm nearly 60 and quite frankly don't get too engrossed in Showbiz Rugby. I like the 6N and RC etc. but I'm not too fussed if I miss some matches. I watch Premiership Highlights but other than I can take it or leave it.

If one had been produced in the late eighties/early nineties I'd have lapped it up. I'd have looked to build a team that look like this:-

Davis Sole
Sean Fitzpatrick
Olo Brown
Wade Dooley
John Eales
Mike Teague
Michael Jones
Wayne Shelford
NF Jones
Michael Lynagh
Viainga Tuingamala
Tim Horan
Phillippe Sella
David Campese
Serge Blanco

So in essence I don't think I'm part of your target audience. If I was good at marketing I wouldn't mend roads so I'm not sure who likes this stuff Rugby "Fans" or computer/gaming types?? I'll ask my lad what he thinks - he still plays CM2 96/97 too. :) and he's a Rugby Player and a lot younger (than me).

I think you're not to old for gaming ;) I think that anyone who like manager games and love Rugby Union would love Rugby Club Manager. How your lad? What does he think about it?
