actually it does vibrate (it hadn't) and I reported it wrong the dialogure went
- Use It
- has time expired?
- no
- how much longer?
- I'm not looking at my watch now!

It was a murky afternoon, the light had all but drained away, when it's like that it takes me more than a glance at my watch, I have to peer
Anyway, I'm not taking my eyes off the play at such a critical moment...

Not when it's a scrum half asking, anyway?

Aside : last week I had a scrum half ask me in live play, it was at a ruck
Me : "Ball available , Use It"
#9 : "has time expired yet, sir?"

FYI

Me : " use it .... 3, 2, 1 ......... Whistle = scrum ... Turnover feed "

#9 : " Eh, scrum?!!! - wt"!" .... Why didnt you didn't answer me ref "
Me : "are you dissenting my decision not to answer you 9? .....& be careful how you answer, as your teammates could be very displeased at your reply !"

80 mins are up, we are in the last play. Red 8 blue 10, red are attacking. Blue player goes down with a suspected head injury that you think could be nasty. You stop play so that he can receive attention.

Do do you restart the game ?

Nope. I've done this in a final as well and the player who was knocked out was on the winning side. He definitely wasn't right, however we had gone over time so I couldn't restart.

Seems a bit "jobsworth"y to me.
