do you ever say stuff like "now remember what we spoke about last week" or "your #7 was lucky to avoid a card last week so I'll be watching him"? Or do you just forget & reset?
Only if it's a multi week trend. I might spend a couple of secs on it in the PMB

Depends on the relationship I have with the team, coach a the general receptiveness of a team to such honesty. I’ve fronted up about bad games or obviously incorrect decisions in the past, I’ve also not referred to these in the past. I think it’s very situational dependent but i generally I’ve no problem referencing a bad game in my team talk, that I’m human, I referee to the best of my ability etc.

generally I’ve no problem referencing a bad game in my team talk, that I’m human, I referee to the best of my ability etc. AND that I am the only person on the pitch guaranteed not to cheat.
