Why do boot manufacturers go to extremes?

I like a black boot probably more than most people, but those are even too bland for me. And that's saying something.

White or silver Adidas stripes would set those off a treat.

You could well be right but hell, you need some contrast.

Even a grey stripe on a black boot, would be better than black on black.

It's called "murdered out" Phil, and that fashion has been around for at least 6-7 years.

Also, those boots are a bit old...they're from last winter from memory...

What an outstanding boot - RFU should make them mandatory for all match officials - black laces allowed.
Already grinning ear to ear SimonS after a platter of Fruits de Mer and a cheeky Landes rose on the beach near Bayonne.
In this mood DaftMedic would get a good report wearing white, pink, or psychedelic boots.
Reminds me I must have a word with Messrs Cousins and Brown about watching DaftMedic on an observer a Exchange to SEG next season.
