Anyone else watching? 13 minutes in and the scrums are a mess. I'm afraid the referee is clearly guessing who to penalise at the scrum. The most recent penalty he blew his whistle and then you could see him deciding which arm to raise (it took a few seconds). Painful to watch.

They are wearing their jimjams.

Commentators - perfect assessment. Nothing new there then.

Crooked feeds a plenty?

Just noticed that the flags have the match details embroidered on them eg: Wales v Tonga Millenium Stadium 2013.

Just wondering if this is common practice? Picturing Craig Joubert's private bar room at home with AR flags mounted in mahogany framed glass cases around the walls.

The ref keeps talking about the "hit" when he says set at scrum time. Rod for his own back!

2nd half. Wales 89% territory, 72% possession. Have they scored any points in the 2nd half? Hope they play like this against the Wallabies. Tonga will be happy with the final result, Wales will need someone to run around the stadium to wake up all of the supporters who paid to attend the game.

no score at all in the second half, dire game. 27 pens and no sign of a warning or a card, seems high not to have had a card or a warning.

That was the Australian team getting one perfect prediction and two off by a single point.:pepper:

Agreed. If anyone has recorded it and plans watching it later, do yourself a massive favour and delete it. I fell asleep and missed 20 minutes of the second half.

My wife went to bed at half time; I now wish I'd gone with her.

The only thing I enjoyed from the whole game, was the superb angle the Tongan player took to score by the posts.

... Two poor sides and a poor ref.
It was just the refs 2nd Test. I don't think he had a shocker, but just lacked confidence. That will come.

I reckon even Nigel Owens would have struggled to make that game bearable. What's that lovely saying the Americans have "You can't polish a turd". So true.

It was some of the players' first test too. They still had shockers. The ref was poor tonight. Will they, and he, get better? Who knows. But judging all three components (2 sides and the ref) tonight gives a verdict of: "must do better."

By the way it was some guy called William Shakespeare who said "you can't polish a turd" not the Americans. Judging from a few of their "leaders" they have tried .

Blimey with friends like you lot, who needs enemies?!?

When we all get to the level he's at, then we get to comment on whether he's good or not. Thought RR.com was better than this.

Shall we not comment on the players either? After all they have done pretty well to get to international level too.

Unless of course we are / have been international players ourselves.
