very enjoyable evening in the company of SWB.
he gave us (Sussex Society) a presentation and it was excellent.
'preparation' but was more about how to handle foul play incidents
he showed some of his quins v Tigers incidents
yc for skinner, yc to lambert, pt to Tigers ....
we discussed them
he explained his thought processes
rcs for marler and his oppo ... 'head butt' and right hook etc
we discussed them
he explained his thought processes
very very educational and beneficial ..
one thing he said which was interesting:
pk for dissent .. "the worse decision is to give a pk for dissent and run past the perp 'peeping' and moving the mark 10.
just peep, stop. wait. say to capt (from afar) and point to perp. 'i am now moving the mark forward 10. He talks to me like that again and it could be worse'.
dont petrol on the situation by escalating it ...
very interesting ... in my locker.
if you can .. get him to present to your society
