Welsh pathway question

Current Referee grade:
Level 3
I can't find anything to support it but always understood (told by the clubs) that under the pathway conversion are take no nearer to the touchline than the 15 mtr lines.

Can anyone confirm that this is right or wrong?

SCORING: Notes:–
(i) if goal posts are available on the mini-pitch, conversions are
to be taken as normal.
(ii) if goal posts are available only on the full size pitch,
conversions are to be taken in front of the goal post.

NB: I see that is actually only mentioned in the Under-10 section...

Agreed that is in the pathway (as it is in my copy). However universally it is not applied. Until recently at all age groups the Pathway demanded a level one refs certificate but this was dropped years ago but the pathway was never updated. The was just one of those emails to "those who need to know". I wonder if this one is similar.
