Ouch, is that a playing injury being repaired?
No nothing like that, it is to have my Xiphoid Process removed. It's the bit at the bottom of the Sternum. Following an op in 2012 it has grown 6 inches and gives a lot of bother when bending or sitting. tanding and running is fine. "/3 days in and hopefully pain free for the first time in 9 years.

Hope it all goes well for you, what a relief to not have any pain after such a long time

Just hope it does not get cancelled last minute.
Not after 14 days self-isolation! 3 days over the weekend was enough for me (they didn't tell me that when offering a Tuesday appointment!).

Good luck with it anyway, and to the surgeon and anesthetist ...

I'm not available this week but looks like lots of games being called off with the dreaded Covid in Cumbria.
What's it like elsewhere?

So much so that they are recruiting external support ... since we have just been prevented from running a ski championship in France I have ended up with a L7 exchange in on Saturday and a L8 exchange on Sunday. Thank you. I'll get used to the road to Henley and Reading this weekend (assuming grounds remain playable).

Have fun. Both grounds great, both lovely friendly clubs, though Henly gets my vote when it comes to after match food, I’ve never had better
