Tough one. Who would you give the penalty to? Maybe just play on with the line out, but warn them both. Or give them both a yellow if it's been happening a lot.

Simmons will get yellow carded for this stuff at some point in the series, so I'm sure we'll find out soon!

6 of one etc. Play on and a word. Can't see who you "blame" and ping.

Red 9 for intentionally collapsing the ruck (and going into the side) - or tackling a player without the ball, as the case may be? There was another Welshman illegally taking an Aussie out of the same ruck immediately before.

Isn't it at least worth a flag from the AR?

Why no penalty/cards? There are clearly punches, and punches are black-and-white illegal.

Just because there are two players involved, it doesn't mean they get of scot-free, does it?

If you are going to stick your flag in you have to be thinking a penalty minimum.
Who to if you didn't see who started it?

AR "Stop the game ref"
Ref "What for"
AR "fight"
Ref "who started it?"
AR "don't know"
Ref "So how do I restart the game?"
AR "er...don't know, just tell em off"
Ref "cheers t**t".

Better still to take the numbers. Next break in play tell the ref then and get him to bollock them or speak to the Captain.

For some reason DirecTV had the feed from Wales. Is it common for Welsh to be spoken in a broadcast?

AR "Stop the game ref"
Ref "What for"
AR "fight"
Ref "who started it?"
AR "don't know"
Ref "So how do I restart the game?"
AR "Scrum, side moving forward or attacking team if in doubt"
Ref "cheers".

So that means you have stuck your flag in for foul play......but have failed to identify foul play....because foul play is a penalty minimum.

Are you saying that if you see two players going at it and you don't know who started it, you won't stop play? Or give cards? Or raise your flag as AR?

What do you do? Just let them keep going at it?

The play has gone away, so step into the field of play and yell "LEAVE IT!"

If I stick my flag in I am going to be telling the ref its a penalty one way or the other. Maybe a couple of Yellows.

What I wont do is stick my flag in and then say, "I just wanted you to stop em fighting".
