Are there any particularly good/cheap sites for buying kit in Australia? I feel like taking advantage of the fact our dollar has almost hit parity and the fact I'm going to Melbourne soon to order some gear and send it to my cousin. Free shipping would be a bonus.

Nope, we bay just as much as you guys. www.lovell-rugby.co.uk have some really good bargains for kit and I do an order once every season for some new boots etc. They are always great to deal with and the longest I have had to wait was 3 weeks.

It's the shipping that's the killer with most places around the world. All the prices look great till you realise you'll pay more to ship it here.

I have never found that, for my last order it was:
- 1 lions shirt
- 2 training shirts
- 1 pair of boots
- 3 pairs of shorts

Shipping cost $12AUD, that's pretty good if you ask me.

Haha, I looked on the website and it was $25NZD for one thing. Come on, it's not that much further!

Add more things just to see if it goes up. Might be worth doing a big shop with a couple of other people.

That's cheaper than buying an $8 item on ebay and then seeing they want $15 postage for something you have posted before for $2.50:chin:

Didn't realise it was that cheap for postage from Lovell. Might have a look at their gear. Thanks Drift.

That was at the end of the financial year last year so it might've been a special. However you still get awesome deals from them all year round.

If you're coming to Melbourne anyway why don't you buy here and carry back with you?

Online is generally cheaper still, and stocks a wider range of sizes.

If you wish, deliver it to my home and you can pick it up from there.

Alternatively, I am going to Wellington early Feb for the 7s. I can bring it over for you if you can get it delivered to me.

Actually not needed, discovered underarmour store in the outlet mall having a sale, got some gear for very cheap.
