Blue kick ahead into Red in-goal area.

Red player knocks ball over dead-ball line.

22 or penalty? No question of penalty try - nobody near enough to score.

clearly (well, to the TV camera, anyway). Player diving to ground and thrust out a hand to bat it away before green, sorry blue, arrived.

Law 10.2 (c).

It is illegal if the referee judges it to be intentional.

And I thought my colour change would disguise the history:swet:

I had the impression at the time that it should have been a pen, but that no official was close enough to see it.

similar happened in Oz v Nz, but conditions prob meant that ref decided it was unintentional - the hand going out that pushed ball dead was prob trying to ground the ball.
