Just so you know. Cider in America doesn't contain alcohol, only hard cider contains alcohol.

So to make Cider you need....Apple Cider?
What's the friggin point? Just drink the Apple Cider

Or real cider, as we might call it here...

I've been drinking various Thatcher's brews recently; Katy's good - tastes of an apple, rather than apples. The Vintage is rather good, and Gold, as a light (ie less than 7.4%) cider.

Biddenden's in Kent make/made a decent cider too; and only 8% ABV...

None of it's scrumpy, of course; but scrumpy's non-vegetarian...

Make some this weekend. You can drink it right away. You won't regret it

I bet you will...if you drink all 8 litres of your recipe in one sitting!

Potentially unfair though it is, which marketing genius decided to call something "Thatcher's".
I could never bring myself to buy it - just in case!

Hullo The Fat,
Slightly off topic where Cider is concerned, but have you tried Lindemans' apple beer?

 (not the American non-alcholic version of same.) Isn't apple juice a far simpler way to drink a non-alcholic version of apple beer anyway?
