What did other people make of England's line out tactics against Georgia?
The match was on Amazon Prime, I am not sure I can post links to the video.
It seemed to me that on their own throw they were huddling, then walking up, setting up with a very large gap and immediately throwing to the front and moving the ball away. In my mind it was deliberate to reduce the chance of a contest.
On the Georgian throw they were up to, if not over the mark. Which is fine if the ref let's you get away with it, but of course he should maintain the gap for both sides.
And do not get me started on Jamie George's throw.
