- $100's in drinks
- kilt checks
- girls kissing
- boobs being flashed
- being referees and held to a different standard we stayed clear of the inappropriate behavior and concentrated on our matches the next day...

left to right: josh, jamo, nick

Ah a little love in, that's great.

Is US$100 (£60) considered a lot to spend on drinks for 3 lads?

I did get a couple of "Chive On" comments in the bar that night. Also got a nice shot in front of the Ice Hockey arena where "The Miracle on Ice" took place.

Mark's a nice guy, lot's of fun to be around. I haven't met a guy who is as laid back as him just before games.

I tied up more time with him than any other attendee...super nice guy. he grew up with our top ref guy in the states, so we had a few laughs about that. then when I was the only one that answered a question correctly he tossed me an SA lapel pin and said he would, "put in a good word with...." he did admit I won the flex off but challenged me to the bleep. mark spent a lot of time on blowing only "the clear and obvious" along with materiality. was a good talk. tailored more for the full range of refs there - but very good. I caught him again after he gave me some very good management advice. he was all about helping the whole time he was there. had a few pints but was very attentive to helping. impressed.
