Sure, you might not want to eat them because there are some serious ethical issues with the companies that that make and sell them, but going organic isn't going to magically make you lose weight.

Well, quite simply, that's untrue.

One presumes that she's talking about GMO's not specifically engineered to produce different nutritional components, such as Omega-3 oils.

As an example, what different nutritional components does Bt wheat have that the base stock doesn't have?

Your body doesn't even recognize GMO as food always.

If I put the GMO food into a bomb calorimeter it would yield approximately the same energy as the non-GMO (unless we're talking about high density protein, carb or fat GMO, then there would obviously be a difference).

I cede to your superior knowledge. But in terms of caloric density, is there a blanket difference between GMO foods and non-GMO foods?
