Freaky injuries

Just suffered a double fracture to my lower right leg today. Think I got too close to the action!
Anyone else suffered anything like this?

Never seen it, other than an elite ref last season on Tv... bad luck chap ...

Ouch...been cleaned up at the lower legs by player flung themselves around the player they were tackling...but thankfully I was not injured. Probably cause I'm fairly short I just go down like a bowling pin!

exactlty the same thing happenned to me yesterday but again fortunately no injury good luck with the rehab gavB. don't forget you can still be involved by assessing/watching other refs at your club once you get mobile.

Nothing worse than getting taken out. Had 2 injuries to the lower limbs through rugby, first was a broken ankle whilst playing

The second whilst refereeing which resulted in a grade 2 tear to my Medial Collateral Ligament.

Neither of which was a wholly satisfying incident may I add.
