Really? I thought kick from a mark is a free kick, law change this year means a free kick direct to touch is now the same case as a penalty - I.e. requires a restart? 5.7.b.

Firstly....only Law Change that I am aware of this year is the 'scoring at base of the post!

5.7.b simply means that the kick must taken. 5.7.c talks about what happens next and it is only for a penalty

Thirded, I assumed it was just the players embarrassing themselves by not knowing the laws of the game they are paid to play, again!
