If you can't get world cup tickets, you might like to consider this...........

http://www.idrc.org.uk/

Running throughout October alongside the Rugby World Cup, the International Defence Rugby Competition (IDRC) will pit twelve teams of battle-hardened soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines against each other to determine the greatest Armed Forces rugby team on the planet. Teams from across the world will be hosted by the Royal Navy, the Army and the RAF for pool matches in Portsmouth, Aldershot and RAF Halton before the semi-finals and the final are held at The Stoop, home of Harlequins, during the week of the RWC Final.

Each team has to provide a referee, but they have to be serving members of the armed forces.

And as the Royal Air Force are current Inter-Service Champions  the focus should be great.

Makes for a great undercard.

But the Army are the current IDRC Champions.

Would that be featuring Lance corporal Semesa Rokoduguni of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards the noo?

As an aside, does England's selection of him for one game bugger his eligibility for Fiji or anyone else?

I heard that the RAF had the better wings but the Navy could rely on their subs...... sorry, I'll get my coat.
