Bump....

6 years on,
have any of the views on the ELVs turned out to be correct, or were early posters unnecessarily sceptical or overly supportive?

New laws:
· Offside line 5 metres behind rear foot of scrum
· Players able to pull down a maul
· No restriction on number of players in a line-out
· Quick throw can go backwards
· No putting ball back into 22 to clear to touch

Of the 5 ELVs listed, the two in red were dropped.

The only real discussion in this thread centred on the 5m offside line at a scrum as it affected the defending scrum half, and this has now been satisfactorily resolved.
