Hi All,

I am going to be doing Movember this year to raise awareness for a very underfunded foundation. I have set myself a challenge of doing 2 burpees for every $1 raised so if you all would like to make me suffer please donate money to my page!

Here is the link for those who are interested: http://au.movember.com/mospace/6816401

Is anyone else going to be sporting a mo' for the month?

Cheers
Drift

When I played in college, my club used to do Movember to raise funds for testicular cancer.

If I did it now, I'd be :norc: well before (American) Thanksgiving.

Having had testicular cancer I would say you should do it,

Maybe now is a great time to remind all you gents to have a good check down below for any lumps and if you find any do not put off getting them looked at!

Already over 1000 burpees and it's only the 1st of November.

I personally know people who have survived it, hence in college I joined the cause. I still donate time and energy to various causes (including refereeing for charity).

I should have clarified: in lieu of something requiring effort, the club did "No-Shave November," which is what I am forbidden from doing.

My father in law has had prostate cancer for the last 15 months, he is getting better but it's a slow process. That's my reason for doing this and my wife is in two minds. On the one hand she supports me in doing this to help raise awareness for her father's condition and on the other hand she hates it when I don't shave.

I am intrigued by the concept of Drift growing a moustache prompting another chap to think "y'know, I'd better go to the doc and get him to stick his finger up my bum" :)

You don't need to proctologicaly examine a gentleman anymore, simple blood test. Although it has taken a certain je ne sais quoii out of the "hole" thing.

The burpees were yesterday and I am feeling, surprisingly, well. However I imagine this will go down hill tomorrow.
