Would like any comments as to whether these are obstructions

It is accidental obstruction the player obstructing had no clue he was in the way, i would hope the referee would call a scrum to the defending team. This is for the second video cannot see the first video.

Did the Ball Carriers team gain an advantage by being accidentally offside? It doesn't look like they did from the video I could see, the defender in the area was still able to make a tackle.

Can still only see the one video, but as everyone else has said.
At worst it's a scrum for accidental offside.
At best it's play on as no advantage was gained.

[LAWS]Law 10
5. A player is accidentally offside if the player cannot avoid being touched by the ball or by
a team-mate who is carrying the ball. Only if the offending team gains an advantage
should play stop
. Sanction: Scrum.[/LAWS]

For me the first one where the gold player is alone when he picke up the ball and passes close to the rear ends of two of his team mates is a pentalty for offside. (Well perhaps moderated to scrum for accidental offside depending on the level of the game) These two teammates were well ahead of where the breakdown was and seemed to just be swanning around and not trying to get onside. The picker seemed to take advantage of that ans squeeze through, so no try and penalty for offside.

The other one is more difficult to decide. I don't like this habit of players reaching behind themselves in a ruck to pick up the ball and then running forward with it. For me that is handling in the ruck and I may well penalise, but I know there are those who think he is acting as the 9 and just getting ball back into play is a good thing. The player who was flagged on the video as offside I wonder if he was materially involved, he did not seem to do anything other than take up some space. I would want to have been closer and at a different angle to make a call on that, but I am less inclined to thing the try should not be allowed that the other one.

For me:

On the first video the defending player is offside, and the ball carrier moves to his right to avoid the player at the front of the ruck.

On the second video, clear obstruction as the actions of the attacking player negated the opportunity to tackle.
