Because firstly, at 0:40, Piri Weepu presses down on the ball in the in-goal (try #1) then at 0:43, Daniel Braid comes around the back (the action he was incorrectly penalised for) and presses down on the ball (try #2).
I see that now. Sorry I thought Piri Weepu was playing for the white team. I struggle to keep up with whose playing for who in the UK; so I've got no chance when they're on a different continent.

Out of interest, was this a critical game winning mistake?

Best option is always to blow up as held up if the ball crosses the line, and in among some bodies it isn't grounded sharpish.

Otherwise it just gets messy.

Like this one.

R Angus Gardner (note Super Rugby referee debut)

Maybe as fill in when Smith was injured?

OK, this must be wrong then?

NOTE: It says Ian Smith at the head of the page, but it mentions Angus Gardner at minute 52 of the commentary

If it isn't a try then it must be held up, so attacking 5m scrum.

unless taken in by attacking team and grounded by defenders = 22
