I know what you mean. When I first saw it , in real time, I thought he moved after being tackled. However, that last little arm movement with the ball was probably adjudged to be a "reach out to place the ball down" and , it was not clear and obvious enough to me to disallow the try.
I can see why it was given - or perhaps more, I can see why it was not disallowed
