amongst other recycled ideas exciting innovations

refcams are a pet peeve. can't see the point of them, I don't think they have ever produced a single bit of useful footage?

having said that, the Times are quite keen

Certainly not much use from a spectator's view, but I guess they may be handy for any players charged for verbal abuse against an official.

I quite like them. Get to see what the ref sees, especially at scrum engagement

Only if linked to the eys so the point in the same direction. As they stand they record what your chest sees.

Get to see where the ref's chest is pointing. Not always the same thing,
Fair enough but hopefully the director has enough nouse to be aware of that. If not, its on him/her, not the fault of the system

I think they are pretty aware , typically there are almost no pictures from the webcam used.
It all seems a bit of a waste of time
