3rd of the 1995 SA side to pass away.
John Bentley was showing my lad's Rugby Team (U10s?) around Headingley (as they were playing in halftime things during a Leeds Tykes match) and JB asked my lad who his favourite player was - I said James Small. I assume Bentos didn't hear me :biggrin:

What is the story there?
I vaguely remember some unpleasant stories about James Small but I don't recall what they were or if they were any more than gossip.

In Ed Morrison's book, he references sending him off because of something that was said that was so bad apparently that his friends watching on TV knew that he was incandescent.
