Now, now Phil. I may not be great at reffin' but language is my thing :
several = more than two but fewer than many...

So three can qualify as several. ;)

Two is a couple, Three is a few and four or more are several. This makes it a few..

Em, I'm quoting the "Language Lawbook" on several ; not just making it up!

Several is : "more than 2, but fewer than many." there is no discussion.

I was speaking of proper English, one suspects that north of the Watford Gap the dialect is far different from that published in mainstream dictionaries. :tongue:

A = 1
A Couple = 2
A few = 3 (possibly 4)
Several = 4 or more...

Oi - not Swiss. Not been here long enough (only 7 out of the required 12 years minimum), or in my current commune long enough (min 3 years required in my current Geminde), to be Swiss (even though i have represented them at international level!)

:swiss:eek:r should that be :eng:

I've been working in Basel for the last while. Still not gone 'round the Rugby club, must put that right soon.

Try looting some valuable art work. That usually works.
