What a load of US rubbish brought over to UK to boost retail sales - and very few bargains, as stock is brought in at inflated prices a few weeks ago and then discounted. Or stock bought in at a very low wholesale prices.

We don't have Us Thanksgivng so no public holiday, so why did it get introduced ?

I prefer our local Cumbrian version, Black Eye Friday, last Friday before Christmas where the locals usually exchange pleasantries after consumption of a number of sherberts straight after work!!
