Take a look at this...

Any thoughts? (Besides...ouch!)

RC?
YC?
PK?
Play on?

(I was AR on far side to the action and had a good view of this and gave some input to the ref about it. What input would you give?)

Player was knocked out and left the field on a stretcher and taken to hospital by ambulance, fortunately he is ok.

Looks like a genuine air contest, BJ just got up higher.

Nice FBook comment from the injured player.

But, but, but he got hurt so it must be a red card!!! [/sarcasm]

Both had eyes for the ball, it's play on.

Clear send-off for me.

(Nah, I'm just shitting you. Nothing to see here. Literally, if you're in hoops.)

No offence as far as I can see.

Both went for the ball. Rugby is a collision sport - and these 2 just collided.

Wow....is that a first? Clear agreement from all on RR! Who would have thunk it?

Yes...entire T03 said it was fair contest and despite the jumper hitting the elbow of BJ...BJ didn't lead with the elbow (Canadian players would be safe down here from spurious RCs) . :sarc::sarc::biggrin:

Yes, the deliberate thrusting forward of the forearm/elbow is the key observation to make it a 10.4(a) offence. Absent here.

Wests #9 impresses, he glances at both players and then checks on the one not moving, nice 1 SH.
