First up an enthralling game, I was disappointed to see GC as the ref and he did nothing to change my view on his abilities. From start to finish he allowed Toulon tacklers to hold onto the tackled player on the ground, far from penalising this, he then penalised the Bath player for holding on. And don't get me started on his ability to ref the scrum. Rant over, now a question, at the final line out, a Toulon player went off for what the commentator assessed was a blood injury to be replaced by a tall player returning the pitch having previously been substituted. The camera angles were not great, but did anyone see any sign of the alleged blood injury?
