I had the last laugh because specialist diving pay was higher than flying pay.

Flying pay  ....those were the days [sigh]

The headline said: "Bad Boy ref in trouble again"

... OK, so it may be some sort of truth, but possibly libelous - hence the removal maybe.

It went on about the fact Walsh is facing a disciplinary about the incident.

It stated the facts as we know from the Herald (an NZ newspaper) that Walsh turned up drunk to a SANAR meeting.

It also said that Walsh's boss, Lyndon Bray, wasn't returning any calls put to him about the incident and therefore Bray wasn't doing Walsh any favours.

O'Brien was quoted as saying something along the lines of "he's still appointed to the final Six Nations match" and that "I'm (O'Brien) awaiting the outcome of the disciplinary".

Personally, how Walsh can get a Six Nations match and Wayne Barnes not, is beyond me... Barnes also out of favour with the iRB :(

Agree. Neither of them should be anywhere near the 6N at the moment IMO.

Personally I like watching both Barnes and Walsh. But then I think they are both highly effective...
