Evening,
I suppose by now we've all seen Wayne Barnes getting shoved by the Clermont player - gave a penalty but no further sanction.
Weird media response - from what I've seen a lot of players/ex-players saying he handled it well, with (mainly) fans a bit stunned that there was no further sanction.
Personally, however well he handled it, I think about how I would have handled it, and I'm genuinely not sure I'd have been so lenient - I'm of the opinion that you never lay a hand on the referee (I was also a football referee years ago, and never once let a player make contact with me).
