What do you do if Comms with TMO break?

Current Referee grade:
Level 2
A 21st century solution to a 21st century problem. Nothing wrong with that, but in retrospect, since he had to walk all the way over to the sideline to get the cellphone anyway, I think it might have been quicker for him to just carry on up to the TMO booth and ask in person!

Amusing. FTR, the comments section info is incorrect; the referee was Matt Goddard, NOT Stu Dickinson.

However, I did have my mobile in case things did break down. Expect the Unexpected!

I just didnt like the whole time it took on this. In RL the Video Ref / TMO sits in the broadcast truck so all we have to do is do the "square in the air signal" and then the truck will hear us via the boom / man following the cameraman (or at least we could lip read mime where the incidents we want checked occured), that gives the floor manager time to get across to us and we can use his headphones to hear the decision
