Whats the difference

Was looking for better coverage but these are the best I can come up with so far. Watched the highlights of both games last night and am struggling with what the difference is between these two tackles which resulted in different card colours. Any explanation much appreciated.

Apologies thought I'd marked the video at the correct point - 69.25 mins game time for Gloucester v Exeter and 43.37 mins game time for Quins v Irish

there is no consistency applied here, and it's becoming a massive joke.

here's a few more. this was a red with 6 week ban, later moved down to yellow on appeal but effectively a 3 match ban due to tour already left.

2 weeks later, here's this. Goes to TMO, no penalty, no card. no warning, nadda

last week, looks terrible, but both players have dropped and ball carrier sidesteps. head contact is height of supporting player's belly button for reference.

only bring up this team, because they have made complaints about inconsistency. you will find it varying wildly across the competition.
