OK - hearing for misconduct against Ospreys set for Friday. Potential sancions at a misconduct hearing are unlimited.

Now, say, just for interest, they were docked:

1 tournament point... They would then be on 19 points same as Northampton, of the 2 who would have the top runner up spot?

2 tournament points... They then have 18, same as Tigers and Cardiff - who would get the nod?

3 tournement points... they then finish out of contention, who of Cardiff and Tigers would replace them?

Anybody know how the equal points scenario across different pool works out?

The match officials booklet - which contains the competition rules - does not tell us the answer to that question:sad:

1 point docked, it would come down to tries scored. I would guess that the Ospreys would finish ahead due to the Viadana factor.

2 points docked, the Ospreys would finish ahead of Leicester due to the aggregate match points between the two during the pool stages. Comes down to tries scored between them and Cardiff

3 point docked, whoever out of Leicester and Cardiff scored the most tries would go through

At least that's how the pundits on sky were explaining it, so it's probably bollocks.
