White 2 latches onto ball carrier and lifts as the ball carrier goes into contact and hits tackler on head.

Ball carrier yellow carded!!

Why not the the other way round?

The Exeter player #4 received the YC.

It was eventually awarded because the Exeter assistant tackler (E4) was always upright. Though like many I thought the Gloucester support player was actually at fault because he was upright when he came in to support and it was his actions that caused the clash of heads. The head of E4 was well outside of the danger zone until the Gloucester supporter arrived. Different expectations for tacklers and supporters? Tacklers must ALWAYS be lower?

Apologies yes the Exeter defender #4 was carded because the Glaws #2 ran into his head!

Tacklers must always be lower than what endless possibility?

I would offer outcome bias again because a player goes down holding his head.

But perhaps the real issue if we are about player safety, that Glaws #2 doesn't go off for HIA.
