In particular, I'm curious whether other refs would have viewed Allinson as a "third man in". He certainly doesn't throw a punch, but his action (right in front of the AR) is still physically involving himself in the altercation as a third player. His (very nicely executed) tackle of Youngs kicked it all off as much as if he had come in swinging - probably would have been nastier if it hadn't been two scrumhalves on the ground...
